"Cash plans can complement your protection business and help maximise your selling potential" was the message from David Wilson, intermediary manager for HealthSure, in his presentation at this year's COVER Protection Forum.

Wilson outlined their growth, which has remained continual for the past decade, and illustrated the benefits of cash plan sales such as their affordability for individual buyers and as a complement group PMI purchases. There are nearly three million individual and company policyholders in the UK, according to Wilson's presentation.
