Westfield unveils online initiative

Health cash plan provider, Westfield Health, has announced the launch of a range of online services and initiatives for customers.

All policyholders on Westfield's Advantage, Good4you, Foresight and Chamber health cash plans can now view their benefit balances, previous claims and make general amendments to their accounts by simply visiting the My Westfield area on www.westfieldhealth.com.

Westfield Health Chief Executive Jill Davies explained: "Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is one area where constant investment is required to keep pace with the changing demands of our customers and partners. We focus our investment in areas that benefit customers and help to reduce costs together with improving efficiency and service levels."

Davies said that the savings generated by the increased usage of online services were being invested back into the business and into the improvement of products and services provided for customers, as well as into keeping the prices of plans as low as possible.

A further feature of Westfield's online campaign is a special offer that is currently available to new customers who join the Good4you Plan online. This offer waives the usual qualifying period, enabling new policyholders to start claiming their benefits as soon as their cover is in place.
