CIGNA HealthCare is uplifting the reimbursement limits on its dental plans from the 1st of April 2010.
The changes include higher preventative treatment limits on Diamond - the top level plan and higher preventative, minor and major treatment limits on Crystal - the lower level NHS plan. In addition, on the Oral Health co-insurance plan range, all claims for NHS treatment will now be reimbursed at 100%.
CIGNA's head of product management, Kirsty Jagielko says: "Our unique dental management information reporting tells us which benefits our members claim for most frequently - and therefore value the most. Twice yearly dental checkups are an important part of a preventative oral care routine and we are encouraged to see a trend appearing over time which seems to show this can impact on fewer minor and major claims."
