Nizam Hamid has left his role as head of sales strategy for iShares Europe to join Lyxor Asset Management, ETFM understands.

Prior to joining iShares in 2008, Hamid worked for 10 years at Deutsche Bank as head of the global portfolio trading and index strategy team.

Lyxor, a subsidiary of Société Générale, saw Dan Draper leave his role as global head of ETFs, a position that has been left vacant since his departure in January.

Isabelle Bourcier continues to run the global Lyxor ETF business, as part of her role as global head of marketing and sales for listed products at Société Générale.

iShares and Lyxor declined to comment on Hamid's move.
