Harvey Sidhu joins iShares ETFs

Harvey Sidhu has joined BlackRock’s Index Equity Portfolio Management Group, to manage developed market equity iShares portfolios.

Sidhu joins from HSBC Global Asset Management, where he was a senior portfolio manager and head of Index Equity.

He spent over 10 years at the firm, initially as a quantitative equity analyst in the Global Research Group in 2000, before moving to an index portfolio management role in 2005. In this position, he was responsible for a broad range of indexed equity portfolios covering developed and emerging markets.

Prior to this, Sidhu started his investment management career at Rothschild Asset Management in 1997, as quantitative analyst and junior fund manager on the European Equity team.
