The arguments are sound, but unfortunately you need to convince the PI Insurers to take out the exclusion clause for SP's, that nearly all PI policies have. No adviser in their right mind is going to recommend a SP with no indemnity cover. Sorry Mr Investec you need to extend your education programme to the people who have no fundamental understanding of investment risk, the PI insurers.
