A traditionally high growth, high risk sector, Global Emerging Markets continue to offer investors some of the best returns available.
There are however calls amongst managers and investors to differentiate between the BRIC countries that have arguably emerged, the “next 11” countries like Mexico and Indonesia which are at a different point in the development curve and true “frontier markets” that possess the best potential return but also the highest risk.
Our panel discuss these points and how they have positioned their portfolios to maximise returns.
The Global Emerging Markets panel includes:
Mark Gordon-James, Senior Investment Manager, Aberdeen Asset Management
John Monaghan, Associate Director, Fund Research, Standard & Poor’s
