Royal London has announced a new leadership team for its intermediary business. Following Hugh McKee's appointment as CEO, the group has named Ewan Smith as managing director, pensions; Roger Edwards as managing director, UK pensions; Jim Smith as distribution director; Alastair Lonie as governance and business planning director; and Ali Law as IT director. The Royal London group includes Scottish Life, Bright Grey, Scottish Provident and Caledonian Life.

Scottish Widows Investment Partnership has appointed Derek McKay as head of finance. He had been with Lloyds Banking Group for 15 years.

Close Brothers Asset Management has appointed Frankie Mendoza as head of product infrastructure and strategic relationships. Mendoza joins from Legal & General Assurance Society.

Just Retirement has appointed Alex Duncan as chief risk officer. He joins from Old Mutual.

Psigma Investment Management has appointed Nina Krishna, previously chief operating officer (COO) for global banking, markets and private bank at HSBC in Dubai, to the new role of COO.

Dina Henry has been appointed as regional director for the South East and Kent at Duncan Lawrie Private Bank.

Royal London Group has announced the appointment of Jane Platt, Kathryn Matthews, and David Weymouth to its board as non-executive directors.

Platt is currently chief executive and director of savings for National Savings & Investments.

Matthews was previously chief investment officer, Asia Pacific (excluding Japan) for Fidelity International.

Weymouth is currently group operations and risk director of RSA Insurance Group.

RSM Tenon Group has appointed David Jeffcoat to the role of non-executive director and chairman of the audit committee.

Between November 2010 and April 2011 Jeffcoat was a non-executive director of Zenergy Power. Prior to this he worked as group finance director for aerospace and defence electronics manufacturing group Ultra Electronics Holdings.

AXA Wealth has appointed Gary Stoker as regional development manager for the south west. He joins from Skandia, where he was executive business consultant responsible for platform sales, investments and RDR consultancy.
