Axa Winterthur is expanding the range of services available to advisers via its Professional Edge programme.

The enhancements include the introduction of business consultants to help advisers "identify opportunities to develop and improve their businesses".

Additionally, a technical website, called Expert, provides updates on the latest regulatory developments while Axa is also set to host a series of retirement roadshows starting in March.

David Thompson, managing director, sales and marketing, says: "Current market conditions are challenging for many advisers, and AXA Winterthur Wealth Management is committed to supporting them through times of change and uncertainty.

"We believe this new technical support programme will become an essential tool for the advisers that work with us, particularly as they develop their business models in light of the RDR."

Professional Edge consists of a team of business consultants offering IT development support, field-based and office technical support as well as offshore assistance.
