The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) has unveiled its Spring Sales Development Workshop programme to help mortgage intermediaries develop their sales skills and better meet customer demand.
The trade body revealed the programme is sponsored by LV= who will be working with sales trainer, Paul Archer, to deliver an interactive workshop focused on practicing and developing key sales skills. He will be supported by experts from both LV= and AVIVA, who will highlight how firms can increase earnings in this challenging year. The first event is in Edinburgh on 27 April. Details of this, and the other locations and dates, can be found at www.a-m-i.org.uk
Robert Sinclair, director of AMI, highlighted that even the best advisers need to be coached, practice and train.
He continued: "Over time, we can forget the 'rules' and acquire bad habits, sometimes meaning we miss opportunities. These one day workshops will provide practical methods to improve sales skills. I am really looking forward to taking these sessions out around the country. This will be a great chance for members to get together and work on finding better ways to meet their customers' needs."
