All Types of Mortgages (AToM) has appointed two regional business development managers (BDMs) after receiving an unprecedented response to it recruitment drive.

The firm claims to have received over 50 applications and has chosen to take on Andrew Hart and Kenny Smith.

Hart, who was previously an IFA, will look after business in Harrow and nearby postcodes, while Smith, who joins from Goldsmith Williams, will take responsibility for Nottingham and the surrounding area.

Commenting on the appointments, Dale Jannels, sales and marketing director at AToM, says: “With lenders reducing costs and condensing their sales teams, BDMs are becoming few and far between.

“We need AToM to be at the front of the intermediaries’ minds for all mortgage related enquiries and BDMs are a key element to achieve this.”

Jannels says the firm will be making further appointments in the near future, and is keen to receive further applications.
