Resolution takes on intermediary head

Resolution Asset Management has appointed a new head of its third-party sales division which includes intermediaries.

Frank O’Donnell will move from Henderson Global Investors, where he was associate sales director, to head up Resolution Asset Management’s third party retail sales team.

Over the last 18 months, Resolution says it has seen a large inflow of funds under management, and with increasing sales levels and the establishment of three specialist investment boutiques, it says its sales and support team has needed significant reinforcement.

As a result, O’Donnell, who will take up his new role on 7th August, will work closely with Alistair Hall, the head of UK sales and distribution, while concentrating on fully developing Resolution’s third party retail distribution, including links with intermediaries.

Jonathan Polin, sales and marketing director at Resolution Asset Management, says: “We are determined to grow our intermediary business, so alongside product development and the establishment of new joint ventures, building a strong sales force is clearly very important.”

He says while the company has seen encouraging sales figures this year, it will continue to focus on quality investment performance and securing and maintaining flows from third party investors.
