Fidelity and FundsNetwork will host Precovery workshops to prepare advisers for the highly anticipated market recovery.
The theme for the workshops, which will take place at 27 venues nationwide, is "preparation, not prediction".
Speakers will provide constructive and insightful ideas to help advisers position clients ahead of stock market and eventual economic recovery, Fidelity says.
Issues to be covered are:
FundsNetwork will also present ways to prepare for the upturn, such as considering ways to segment an adviser's business, identifying which clients are more valuable and looking at ways to produce a steady source of income during the second half of the year.
"Trying to predict the absolute bottom is nigh on impossible, as only with hindsight do you know when it occurred," says Peter Hicks, head of UK retail at Fidelity International.
"The recent Budget should mean that clients can't have failed to notice the many tax changes. This is a great opportunity to review their affairs and add value to the relationship," he adds.
