Zurich has appointed five pension specialists as part of its plans to increase business in the intermediary market.
The new specialists will focus on building relationships with distributors and providing them with technical guidance on all aspects of pension planning.
The team consists of Alan Godbeer, Andy Nash, Dave Lawson, Paul Rutland and Mark Thewlis, who have a wide range of experience in pensions sales and technical roles.
They will provide support to intermediaries, including hosting technical seminars and Zurich's Reviewing Pensions Fairly campaign.
"The appointment of the pension specialists will allow us to offer specialist support to an even greater number of distributors as we seek to grow our share of the pensions market," says UK intermediary sales director, Richard Howells.
