Lighthouse has reached an agreement with Mortgage Intelligence (MI) that will see the network provide a centralised hub of product and procuration fee information for the wealth management firm's mortgage advisers.

MI's broker help desk will be on hand to assist members with hard-to-place cases and product enquiries, while they will also have access to enhanced procuration fees and market leading products if they place all mortgage business with MI.

Lighthouse says its mortgage advisers will continue to receive regulatory, back office and business support from it's in-house team.

Sally Laker, managing director at MI, says: "With Mortgage Intelligence now encompassing a collective distribution channel with Mortgage Next, we have some extremely exciting times ahead which we are delighted for Lighthouse members to be a part of.

"By centralising their mortgage business distribution through Mortgage Intelligence, Lighthouse advisers will not only receive access to competitive products but also to competitive procuration fees - promptly paid."

Stephen Chitty, mortgage manager at Lighthouse, adds: "In the current difficult mortgage market, lenders are increasingly restricting the best product deals to members of mortgage clubs.

"This agreement with Mortgage Intelligence represents a valuable opportunity for Lighthouse advisers writing mortgage business to remain competitive in the challenging market. We are very pleased to be able to offer this support to our advisers."
