Skandia’s Trailblazer roadshow will hit the road again this September, offering free events to help IFAs bring long-term value to their businesses and prepare for the changing regulatory environment.

Beginning on 14 September, the free roadshow will bring some of Skandia's top technical experts plus leading fund managers and economists to nine venues from London to Glasgow.

Speakers, including Skandia CEO Nick Poyntz-Wright, will deliver a programme focusing on the regulatory and client needs driving change in financial services.

The sessions will cover:

  • Positioning financial advice businesses for the future and why the adviser channel is placed to ensure the best consumer outcomes
  • Embedding long-term value in financial advice businesses
  • The economic drivers of change plus the investment environment, in which advice is given, put into the context of advisers' businesses

At each session, a fund manager will present how they will adopt a strategy to success in the current economic climate

Advisers will also be able to visit the "Genius Bar" for one-to-one discussions with Skandia experts on platforms, investment methodology, tax planning and pensions.

Details of the roadshows locations and how IFAs can register for free are available at: www.skandiatrailblazer.co.uk.
