Sesame will deliver a virtual RDR conference to update advisers on the impact for their businesses and provide solutions for a smooth transition.
Screened live on 14 September, the two hour event will let IFAs participate in panel debates, plus save time and money by not having to travel.
The conference will comprise a series of panel-based discussions with senior figures, including: AIFA director general, Chris Cummings, Sesame's executive chairman, Ivan Martin and sales and marketing director, Stephen Young.
They will be joined by industry experts from Aegon, Axa, Prudential, Scottish Widows and the Financial Services Skills Council.
Advisers will be able to watch and participate in the debates via a live question feed.
The conference will cover an overview of RDR and the impact it will have on advisers' businesses, including a look at the road to diploma status and the routes available.
It will also give IFAs an insight into remodelling their business, such as the transition from commissions to fees, along with details of the practical support that Sesame and some product providers have put in place to help.
Furthermore, the debates will examine the impact of the RDR on product providers and the challenges they face, plus how the actions they are taking will affect advisers.
"With so much information for advisers to get their heads around it is vital that we make the process as convenient and efficient as possible in order to minimise disruption and time spent away from client facing work," says Nick Kelly, managing director of network and direct at Sesame.
IFAs can register for the conference on 14 September from 10am to 12pm by clicking on 'Virtual RDR Day' at www.sesamelearning.co.uk.
