Axa Winterthur Wealth Management has enhanced its single pension product, The One, to offer a greater choice of funds.

The firm has ramped up the investment choice in the single pension solution, designed to offer clients self-invested options, plus a range of features to meet their needs during both their working life and retirement.

The One will now allow investors to access a range of investments from across the Axa Group, under the name Axa Family Fund Range. It offers:

  • A variety of funds from AXA Investment Managers, ranging from property to fixed interest
  • Selected funds from AXA Framlington's range of equity funds
  • Funds managed by global equity experts, AXA Rosenberg
  • Architas' range of Multi-Manager and Multi-Asset Passive Funds, which includes access to the Elite Fund of Funds range

Furthermore, initial commission has been added, giving IFAs greater choice in they way they wish to be remunerated.

The product currently offers transparent charging through Flexible Adviser Remuneration (FAR), which means it is RDR-ready for 2012.

Many advisers have yet to adapt their business models to meet the RDR requirements, so offering initial commission gives IFAs the chance to make the transition as demand for adviser-charging increases, says Axa Winterthur.

In addition, the website offers a new online quote facility to allow advisers the opportunity to quote online for the single pension offering 24 hours a day, as well as for different scenarios.

"By enhancing our single pension we're able to help IFAs who need even greater flexibility to steer their businesses in the run up to 2012," says David Thompson, managing director, sales & marketing at AXA Winterthur Wealth.

He says the firm will continue to fine-tune the product as demand from advisers grows.

"We'll continue to push the boundaries of product innovation in our attempts to promote retirement planning at all levels."
