IFAs will now be able to access real-time information about all their new individual pensions business under one roof, cutting the time spent on administration.

The Scottish Life tracker service uses an on-line "traffic light system" to show the contract type and the status and progress of each case.

Keith MacPherson, head of marketing development at Scottish Life, says: "We decided to open up the process by allowing IFAs a clear view at all times of exactly where their client cases are in the new business pipeline.

"The new business tracker has been specifically designed to be easy to access and easy to use. Advisers will be able to view all payment and transfer details, as well as monitoring their remuneration payments."
