Wrap platform Ascentric has appointed Alan Ferguson to its business development team.

Ferguson will support IFAs transitioning to the platform in the north of England and in Scotland.

He joins from The Hartford, where he was sales operations director, having previously held roles at Axa, Aegon and Scottish Equitable.

"I am thrilled to join such a dynamic and progressive organisation that offers a great solution to users," Ferguson says.

"My priority is to get out and engage with IFAs and help them transition their business to an RDR-ready state."
