Plum Software will run a series of roadshows for IFAs around the country demonstrating how its latest software can help with client management.
The roadshows start at the end of November and aim to show the benefits of upgraded software that Plum says will improve the adviser's time-keeping, management and client services.
New functions enable advisers to design their own screens, work on several clients simultaneously and manage administration more effectively through letter writing and diary scanning.
Plum says automated commissions and checks of fund-based renewal will save the client hours of time.
Ann Dempster, managing director, Plum, says: "We've put a lot of time and thought into improving the usability and capabilities of Plum Software to adopt e-commerce features."

As a user
We've had Plum since January 2004 and it is significantly better and faster than it was when we chose it as our preferred system. That's not to say we cannot see greater improvements, but I think it's now at the stage where seeing how different users make use of it is probably where the greatest benefits can be gained by sharing experiences and templates which can be put on to the system such as the tracks system and it's link to the diary and sent emails. What we are putting in to the system now goes in very quickly and smoothly, but as with any system, it is the ability to pull out the figures in a format that is presentable and visual and I'd like to see what other users are doing on this as I think the system is capable of a lot more than I am using it for.
