A virtual conference examining what advisers need to do to become RDR compliant is being launched by Sesame Bankhall Group for its members.

Group executive chairman Ivan Martin, Sesame managing director Nick Kelly and Bankhall managing director David Golder will be among those hosting the conference.

The four-hour event, which members can watch from their desks, will cover qualifications, investment markets, protection and business processes and will take place on 9 February from 11am.

It will be the first of several the adviser giant plans to run in 2010 and follows on from last year's virtual RDR conference.

Viewers will be able to participate in live interactive panel debates via a live question feed.

"Our virtual conferences offer advisers practical guidance on some of the key issues affecting their business and can play a key role alongside face-to-face and online learning," Stephen Young says.
