AWD Chase De Vere’s high net worth boutique The Private Office has appointed two partners as the practice marks an impressive first year in business.

Joe O'Shea joins as partner and chartered financial planner and Alistair Callander, who specialises in providing long-term family wealth planning solutions, also becomes partner. In addition, a paraplanner and two support staff have been hired.

The Private Office was established as a high net worth boutique in November 2008. Based in Leeds, the company runs around £650m in assets under advice.

The Private Office managing partner Robert Morse says: "The past 12 months have been an extremely successful and exciting time for The Private Office. This can be seen in the expansion of our client base which has increased in the past year.

"We believe the business will continue to grow at a significant rate in 2010 and have plans to recruit further during the course of the year."
