Leeds-based IFA support group Tenet has promoted Jon Barham to head of sales.

Reporting to sales and marketing director George Eleftheriou, he will be responsible for the recruitment of new IFAs and advisers into existing firms for the group's Connect (investment) and LIME (non-investment) divisions.

Barham joined Tenet as a regional business manager in June last year after three years as a partner in a Wiltshire-based mortgage, pension and investment company. Prior to that he spent three years at Mortgage Intelligence, helping to set-up its AR proposition.

Eleftheriou says: "[Jon] brings with him a true understanding of the IFA market, having run his own financial practice in the past."
