AWD Chase De Vere has agreed a £1.4m four-year deal with Focus Solutions to provide software support to its team of 178 advisers.

Group finance and operations director Robert Organ says the move will help its IFAs deliver holistic financial planning to its client base ahead of the implementation of the RDR in 2012.

The IFA will also adopt Focus' online training and testing solution to support advisers' training and development.

"We were looking for a solution that would help us to enhance our client proposition and improve the support we provide to our advisers," Organ says. "We want to grow our business and require scalable software solutions to help achieve this."

The move also adds to AWD's in-house training development programme, which will be headed up by new hire Carl Pimlott.
