National IFA 2plan Wealth Management has launched an online client portal enabling its advisers’ fee-based clients 24/7 access to their portfolio and valuation information.

Horizon, available to clients who select the company's ongoing fee-based premium service, provides an aggregated policy summary with instant online updating direct from providers.

Detailed policy information, on-demand provider valuations and graphical representation of fund allocation are also available, as is a direct links to the client's adviser website.

"Whilst many firms use websites simply as a ‘cheap' way of servicing lower-revenue clients, the Horizon portal service is aimed at giving added service to high-net worth clients as an integral part of their ongoing service agreement," 2plan CEO Chris Smallwood says.

"This not only enhances the communication exchange between advisers and their clients but also provides a powerful client-retention tool - complementing the overall advice process".
