Paula John, editor-in-chief at Mortgage Solutions, IFAonline's sister title, discusses the first-time buyer (FTB) market on BBC Working Lunch.
She calls for a "radical" overhaul of the existing Stamp Duty system and says it may be better for some FTBs with small deposits to try the smaller building societies.
The show also features a campaign to put the clocks forward an extra hour - a move which would bring the country in line with much of the rest of Europe.
