M&G named Global Group of the Year at 2010 IW Awards

Energy Risk Awards 2010

M&G scooped three gongs at the 15th annual Investment Week Fund Manager of the Year awards last night, including the prestigious Global Group of the Year title.

In addition to the Group award, M&G's Tom Dobell won the ULK Growth category for the M&G Recovery fund, while Graham French won the Active Managed category.

The night's outstanding achievement awards went to Mark Lyttleton for the work he his done in the promotion and education of absolute return funds, while his colleagues Nick McLeod-Clarke and Adam Avigdori the UK Income sector for BlackRock UK Income.

Other multiple winners on the night were Aberdeen, Henderson's Bill McQuaker and First State Investments - which was named Specialist Group of the Year along with individual category winners.
