Sesame Bankhall Group finance director Mark Wadelin has retired after 13 years with the company.

Previously finance director at Sesame before the company merged with Bankhall last year, Wadelin took up the same role within the enlarged group.

He resigned on 30 June and has been replaced by integration director Paul Hooper.

Ivan Martin, Sesame Bankhall Group's executive chairman, says: "Mark played a key role in the emergence of Sesame.

"I would like to thank Mark for his support, efforts and commercial acumen over the years and wish him all the very best for the future."

Wadelin joined the Misys Financial Services Division as finance director in 1997 and was involved in a series of acquisitions undertaken by the business.
