Prestwood Group, the company behind Truth and Prestwood Software, has launched a coaching and mentoring programme to help financial planners transition their business ahead of the RDR.
The programme, led by a team of eight mentors including Yvonne Goodwin and Institute of Financial Planning (IFP) vice president Marlene Shalton, is spread over four to six months and includes tutorials and practical support.
Other mentors include Johnston Financial founder Adrian Johnston; Astute Financial Planning founder Ian O'Connor and Dunham Financial Services director Rebecca Taylor.
Prestwood Group chairman Paul Etheridge says: "What we are seeing all the time are large numbers of advisers who are trapped in a transactional business process and see no way for them to move their business model to become RDR compliant.
"The RDR gives advisers so many great opportunities to change the way they do business. Our coaching and mentoring programme provides a well-structured approach to transition combining intense tutorials with on-the-job implementation.
"The programme is subsidised by Prestwood to encourage participation at all levels of the business."
