Incisive Media has officially launched Adviserhound.com, the industry’s first vertical search engine designed to cater for the day-to-day business needs of financial advisers.
The unique tool will help adviser firms spend less time hunting for product and performance information, and more time with clients.
Advisers can spend hours each week searching for the latest performance figures, provider contact information and regulatory developments, but Adviserhound.com offers a one-stop online portal designed to make advisers' jobs that much easier.
Adviserhound.com will only pull relevant pages from designated investment and retail websites, resulting in a more efficient search.
For example, a search for ‘RDR' on Adviserhound.com will deliver applicable pages associated with the Retail Distribution Review only. Using another search engine may bring up, for example, Rock Deformation Research, a geology consultancy based in Leeds.
Delivering performance data from Lipper, Trustnet, OBSR, Morningstar, Standard & Poor's, Financial Express and Funds Library, Adviserhound.com also pulls in relevant video, product information, event details and more from your search.
Nick Rapley, managing director, Incisive Media, says: "I am thrilled and delighted that after months of research Adviserhound.com is finally a reality.
"Adviserhound.com is the UK's first vertical search engine for the retail financial services industry and will save advisers considerable time when it comes to searching for relevant information, thereby giving them more time to spend with clients.
"I fully expect Adviserhound.com to become embedded in the workflow of the adviser community."

Congratulations, your job just got that much easier.
