Online trainer WizardLearning.com has launched a range of learning tools helping advisers taking the new CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.

The training consists of an online multimedia course and gap analysis and assessment tool for each CII diploma exam in addition to a CPD-friendly learning log.

"We cannot wave a magic wand to make the CII Diploma any easier but we can provide comprehensive, clear and user-friendly learning tools that give users the confidence, skills and knowledge to maximise their chances of Diploma exam success," says Wizard Learning MD Mike Goldsmith.

The gap analysis and assessment tool is designed to provide candidates with exam standard questions and answers in an environment similar to the real computer-based exam, says Wizard.

Tools include interactive knowledge tests, revision assessments, animated audio-visual presentations and online audio downloads.

A personalised learning log including student study time is also included enabling candidates to view and print a CPD certificate.

The R01 learning material is available to purchase now with material for the other exams available in the coming weeks as they are finalised.

Earlier this year, the CII unveiled details of its level four Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, aimed at new and existing advisers. It is one of eight CII exams listed as ‘RDR-appropriate' by the FSA.

Last month, the Institute of Financial Planning outlined a blueprint for challenging the CII's market dominance with plans to offer a level four qualification and produce a financial planning register for ‘Formula One' firms.
