Martin Bamford was the big winner at the Unbiased.co.uk Media IFA of the Year awards last night, picking up two prizes.
The Surrey-based adviser was recognised in the best individual IFA and best social media IFA categories, while his business, Informed Choice, was also named best IFA firm.
The awards recognise the work of individual IFAs and mortgage advisers who have actively participated in unbiased.co.uk's media campaign to position 'independent' and 'whole of market' advice as the gold standard of financial advice available to consumers.
