Verbatim Asset Management has announced two high profile fund manager changes to three of its Portfolio Fund mandates following internal staff changes at Henderson and Schroders.
The changes will see funds 3 and 7 from Henderson Global Investors, formerly managed by Craig Heron, now managed by Henderson's head of multi-manager, Bill McQuaker.
Meanwhile Fund 4, formerly managed by Andrew Yeadon, will be managed by Schroders' head of multi-manager Johanna Kyrklund.
"Verbatim has appointed proven fund management teams from well known and established industry partners, and these changes reflect our confidence in the strength and depth of the teams at Hendersons and Schroders respectively," says Verbatim managing director Neil Stevens.
"We are pleased to have agreed the appointment of two high-profile fund managers to the Verbatim mandates as we can continue to offer the IFA firms we serve access to leading multi-manager teams in the industry.
He adds: "One of the key strengths of Verbatim is that due to its unique independent governance and tightly controlled investment mandates, the solutions are designed to be adapted effectively when the inevitable changes in personnel occur. Our objective is to remove many of the worries and risk burdens from advisers as they can remain confident in the portfolio funds."
