Otto Thoresen made a career change this week but who else is moving on?

Otto Thoresen, chief executive of Aegon UK, will become director of the ABI on 4 April.

Goldman Sachs economist Ben Broadbent will replace Andrew Sentance on the Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee from 1 June. 

The FSA appointed former Stroud & Swindon boss John Sutherland as a senior adviser on the building society sector.

Former FSA managing director of supervision John Pain will join KPMG in July as a partner in its Financial Services Regulatory Centre of Excellence.

Towry Law appointed Aon Hewitt's Nejwa King as investment manager.

Nonie Zaremba joins First State Investments as an investment specialist from SAC Capital.
