BNY Mellon Asset Management is offering advisers free R02 RDR workshops in association with the CII.

The workshops, running between March and April, will help advisers work towards the module, which aims to develop knowledge and understanding of investment products and the application of the investment advice process.

Beginning on 29 March in Glasgow, the workshop programme will visit Manchester (30 March), Southampton (5 April), London (6 April), Newmarket (7 April), Bristol (12 April) and Birmingham (13 April).

CII-approved trainer Daniel Clayden will run the workshops, which will focus on outcomes 1 and 6 of the R02 module plus exam techniques, while Suzanne Hutchins of Newton Investment Management will present on investing for real returns.

Steve Aspinall, head of corporate development at the CII, says: "A willingness to embrace professionalism remains key to maintaining public confidence in the financial advice sector.

"This workshop programme is another example of their ongoing support for advisers and they deserve credit for helping advisers meet the challenges of the RDR."
