The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) has launched an online video service to help members build up CPD hours.
CISI TV will allow members to watch and listen to CPD events, with 60 new webcasts and podcasts being uploaded every year.
Hours can be logged directly onto the CISI CPD log, and slides are linked automatically to presentations and available to download.
Areas covered include compliance, corporate finance, risk, training & competence, wealth management and IT/Operations. There is also a dedicated RDR section.
Simon Culhane, CEO of CISI, says: "This is an important tool to help our global membership enhance their professional development, improve their competence levels thereby increasing their value to their employers."
In addition to catching up on CPD events, CISI TV also broadcasts a range of short interviews, comments and updates from prominent industry practitioners.
Earlier this year, CISI confirmed it will apply to become an accredited body under the FSA's new professionalism regime.
If approved, it would be required to monitor CPD and issue advisers with Statements of Professional Standing.
