Axa Wealth’s new Professional Edge consultancy service is launching a series of nationwide seminars focusing on paraplanner development.

Kicking off in Belfast on 11 May before concluding in Birmingham on 30 June, the seminars are designed to tackle IFAs' "burning issues" in the run up to RDR.

Hosted by ParaPlan Plus managing director Richard Allum, the seminars will focus on paraplanner development in a reflection of the increasingly important part this role plays in adviser businesses.

The programme consists of four workshops covering the role of the paraplanner, report writing, research skills and financial planning.

"By attending the AXA Wealth Professional Edge seminar, paraplanners will be assisted in developing and honing their existing business skills, which in turn can greatly assist IFA businesses by making them more efficient and effective," said Allum.

Axa Wealth's Professional Edge seminar programme continues throughout the year, with a pensions and divorce series set to run in Q3 and a personal injury series scheduled for Q4.
