Novia has expanded its sales team with the appointment of two former Zurich employees as regional sales managers.

Chris Whittingham will be responsible for the south eastern counties whilst Julie Reilly takes up a position in Northern Ireland following the wrap's decision to expand its reach beyond the UK mainland. Both take up their roles this month.

Reilly has over 20 years' experience in the life and investment industry and was most recently executive consultant with Zurich Intermediary Group - a position she held for 13 years.

Whittingham has worked in financial services for over 35 years, the majority of which was spent at Zurich. He also had a five year stint at Axa.

The appointments bring the sales team to ten and come on the back of 44 new recruits joining the business this year.

"The expansion into Northern Ireland is also an exciting development for us as we have seen a real demand for the services that Novia offers from the advisers based there," said Boston.
