Who moved where in another busy week in financial services?
David Barral has been appointed chief executive of Aviva's UK Life business, replacing Toby Strauss as he leaves to join Lloyds Bank.
Barral, previously chief operating officer of Aviva UK Life, reports to Aviva UK CEO Mark Hodges.
Meanwhile, Strauss is leaving Aviva after three years to take up a new role with Lloyds Banking Group.
Phil Willcock, currently managing director of UK Health, will become propositions director, in addition to his UK Health responsibilities.
Dr Tim Crayford has been appointed as medical director to build on the provider's impaired underwriting capabilities.
Andy Briggs will join Friends Life as chief executive on 1 June as former boss Trevor Matthews becomes vice-chairman.
Architas has appointed chartered financial analyst Cedric Bucher as head of business development, as the business expands its reach in the UK and in Europe.
Jonathan White has joined the board as service delivery director, with responsibilities for client service delivery, paraplanning, IT, central services bureau, risk assessment and financial promotion.
Tony Lord, formerly of Cofunds and Skandia, has been appointed regional sales manager for the East Midlands area.
