Ex-iShares and Gartmore sales director Julian Hince has joined M&G as technical development director.
In the newly created role he will develop a training programme for IFA clients. He joins this month, and will report to Amanda Lennon, head of investment marketing.
Hince joins from iShares where he was director of UK intermediaries and third parties. He has previously held positions at Gartmore, as head of strategic partners, and Invesco Perpetual.
Andrew Watson, director of UK advisory and partnerships, said: “Creating the educational programme for IFA clients is an important step forward for M&G as many of our clients have been asking us to provide additional support in the shape of generic investment training.
"RDR has clearly been a catalyst in this demand as more and more IFAs look to ensure they are fully prepapred for the changes ahead.”
