Who moved where in another busy week in financial services...
Sir Callum McCarthy (pictured), the former chairman of the FSA, is preparing to launch a new type of mortgage business he claims could kickstart the UK housing market.
Bob Jolly, former head of global sovereign, currency and UK fixed income portfolio management at UBS Global Asset Management, has been appointed head of global macro, based in London.
Andy Milburn, former IFA market manager at progress from Royal Liver and, more recently, head of marketing at Munich Re, has joined the provider as head of marketing.
The founding director general of the Association of Independent Financial Advisers (AIFA) Paul Smee will join the Council as director-general in August.
Joining from BlackRock is Michael Lee, who has been appointed as head of consultant relationships within the institutional sales team.
Liz Barclay, Jayne Nickalls and David Weymouth have been appointed as non-executive directors to the board of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. They have replaced Sandy Kinney, Chris Woodburn and Terry Connor, who have all come to the end of their terms.

Ex-New Star and Henderson fixed income specialist James Gledhill has joined AXA Investment Managers, as three staff leave the firm.
