Nucleus member firms are opening their doors to fellow advisers in a series of open days designed to showcase the benefits of belonging to an adviser-owned wrap.

Dubbed "Independent Day" to mark the fifth anniversary of the IFA-owned wrap's launch, the open sessions will be held at seven nationwide locations on July 4.

The open days have been specifically designed to provide non-Nucleus advisers the opportunity to meet their peers and learn more about the wrap's operation.

Nucleus will also provide a demonstration of the platform's functionality and hold a discussion on platform due diligence.

"The Nucleus story is all about IFAs taking greater control of their business," said Nucleus chief executive David Ferguson (pictured).

"As RDR approaches ever closer, we have seen a surge of interest from firms undertaking platform due diligence and looking to partner with a proposition that gives them more control over the delivery of their chosen client proposition."

The open days are being held at the following offices:

• F A Watts Investment Managers - Hampshire

• Equilibrium - Cheshire

• W R Financial Management Ltd - Stockton on Tees

• Helm Godfrey - London

• Intelligent Capital Ltd - Glasgow

• Smith & Pinching Ltd - Norwich

• The Fry Group - West Sussex
