Jon Everill, a former director at Bluefin and a co-founder of Destini, has been voted in as the new president of the Personal Finance Society (PFS).
His appointment was confirmed at the organisation's AGM today. He succeeds Edward Grant in the role.
A 22-year veteran of the industry, Everill co-founded Destini Financial Services Group in 2003, staying on with the business after it merged with Thinc Group in 2005.
After Thinc Destini was sold to Axa UK in 2006, it was rebranded to Bluefin in January 2009 and Everill remained as a director.
He left Bluefin last year and is now managing director of J&L Consulting Ltd, working within the UK financial services sector as an independent consultant.
He is also director and owner of Time4Advice, a software, data services and consultancy business, and was previously a vice president of the PFS.
