A former director of advisory firm Towry Law has written a book about his experiences in his second career as a celebrity booker.

Stanley Jackson was a director with Towry and an expert on occupational pension schemes.

However, he left Towry 20 years ago to found his own company, Performing Artistes, booking celebrities for corporate events and becoming an after-dinner speaker himself.

Jackson's Get Me a Celebrity! details his experiences booking celebrities such as Ronnie Corbett, George Best, Jimmy Carr, Jo Brand, Ruby Wax and Gyles Brandreth, who also wrote the foreword to the book.

The book, published by Ecademy Press, is on sale now (RRP £24.99).
