Former Worldwide Financial Planning managing director Peter McGahan has had the rape case against him adjourned.
McGahan appeared on Friday at Truro Crown Court charged with one count of rape. He denied the charge.
The allegation follows an alleged incident at the Royal Duchy Hotel, Falmouth, Cornwall on 19 December last year.
McGahan, of Mawgan Porth, Newquay, a married father-of-three and former managing director of Worldwide Financial Planning, spoke only to confirm his name and to enter his plea.
The case was adjourned with a trial date yet to be fixed. McGahan, who stepped down as head of Worldwide in July, was released on conditional bail.
