Paradigm Group is in talks with Honister Capital to acquire the IFA network.
Talks are understood to be at an advanced stage and a proposal has been put to the FSA for approval.
Honister Capital was launched in June 2009 after acquiring The Money Portal's advisory businesses: networks Burns-Anderson and Sage Financial Services plus national IFA Bates Investment Services (now Honister Partners).
Whilst Paul Hogarth's (pictured) Paradigm Group is looking to expand its footprint in the run up to the retail distribution review (RDR), Honister Capital recently announced a number of job cuts due to increased regulatory costs.
