Transact has been added to Suffolk Life’s self-invested wrapper SmartSIPP.

The addition of Transact comes on the back of Skandia adding its name to SmartSIPP last month and brings to eight the number of platforms signing up to the wrapper since launch in June.

SmartSIPP is a self-invested wrapper offering flexible investment options with administration provided from Suffolk Life's service proposition.

Transact head of marketing Malcolm Murray (pictured) said the link-up continues a historic partnership between the two firms.

"Where we do not offer certain facilities, such as physical property, within our range of pension wrappers, then for several years now we have arranged for our General Investment Account to be available via a SIPP with Suffolk Life."
