Sesame Bankhall Group has set up a team to deliver its new wealth management propositions to advisers, bringing in industry veteran Pan Andreas to head it up.
In November, the company announced plans to roll out a restricted proposition to its network members in 2012, using the services of its new investment arm, Optimum Investment Management, and taking advantage of a tie-up with Australian software giant IRESS.
It will also roll out a new attitude to risk and portfolio analysis tool, which will be linked to its Sesame One platform.
The wealth management team will work with the group's regional development managers, and other adviser-facing teams, to help advisers deliver the service to their clients.
Andreas was previously in a consultancy role working on platform adoption at Axa Wealth and has also held positions at Intrinsic Financial Services and Towry.
George Higginson, CEO of Sesame Bankhall Group, said: "Pan has extensive industry experience, particularly in the wealth management sector and has a good understanding of how to build and manage a strong team.
"His insight into financial services business will help us ensure that our group and our customers gain the maximum benefit from these four separate yet complementary developments."
