Jason Britton, formerly a fund manager at T. Bailey, has launched an investment management consultancy ahead of the retail distribution review (RDR).
Investment Radar will specialise in fund selection and investment research and offer support to fund groups, adviser firms and family offices.
"The investment world is increasingly complex and many investors and advisers are looking to re-appraise their investment processes and bring external expertise to it," said Britton.
"This is particularly true for financial advisers who are faced with the impact of the RDR at the end of this year."
Investment Radar's first client is privately owned financial services group Way Fund Managers.
Britton was the former CEO and CIO at funds of funds specialist T. Bailey, where he worked for 12 years.
